Veteran’s Day Deals

With Veteran’s Day fast approaching I thought it would be a great idea to look around the inter web and see what some companies would be offering for that day. For some, I know people who plan their day around these sales. It’s a big day for Vet’s and it should be you‘ve earned it. Take the day and be appreciated, enjoy the fruits of your labor for your military career. All the long days, cold nights in the field, bays and office. If you’re able to please enjoy yourself. And thank you all for your service and sacrifice. Here’s a list of things I’ve found, I’ll keep updating every time I find something new.

FOOD

54th Street Grill offers a free meal (up to $12 value).
Applebee’s provides a free meal from a special Veterans Day menu. In previous years, spouses and caregivers were also invited to get a discount but this year, it’s limited to veterans and active military only.
Bakers Square serves a breakfast. You can choose from three buttermilk pancakes, three slices of French Toast or one Belgian waffle.
Bar Louie is offering a free burger or flatbread.
Ben’s Soft Pretzels offers a free Jumbo Soft Pretzel.
BJ’s Restaurant and Brew house also offers their free $12.95 meal on Veteran’s Day! You may also be able to get a free beer. Contact your local restaurant for details.
Bob Evans: Free all-you-can-eat hotcakes.
Bonefish Grill offers a free Big Bang Shrimp appetizer.
Bruegger’s Bagels offers a free small drip coffee for veterans and military.
Buffalo Wild Wings gives active and retired service members a free small wings and side of fries if you dine-in! You must present proof of service including an ID card, a DD214, veteran’s card, photograph of you in uniform, or wear your uniform to the restaurant.
California Pizza Kitchen invites military and former military to choose from a pizza, full-size salad or pasta from their special Veterans Day menu.
Carlo’s Bakery provides a free large cannoli to customers with a veteran or military ID. You can choose plain or chocolate.
Carrabba’s provides a free appetizer!
Carrows provides a free slice of pie! No purchase necessary but you will need to have photo ID.
CiCi’s Pizza provides a free buffet, including pizza, salad, desserts and more, to customers with a military or veteran ID.
City Barbeque offers a free sandwich platter and drink.
Chili’s: Free meals from a special menu.
Chipotle offers a free burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos 0n November 7 after 5pm. However, this offer is only valid with the purchase of an entree.
CoCo’s Bakery offers a free slice of pie!
Country Kitchen invites you to enjoy a free Country Scramble on Friday, November 10!
Cotton Patch Cafe offers a free chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken to qualifying guests.
Cracker Barrel offers a free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert at all 640+ locations! I wish I lived near a Cracker Barrel because I really think I need to try one of these.
Denny’s: Free build-your-own Grand Slam Breakfast from 5 a.m. to noon.
Dickey’s BBQ Pit participating locations usually offer a free sandwich, side and drink on Veteran’s Day!
Famous Dave’s offers a Veteran’s Day deal for all military personnel of a free two meat combo.
Farmer Boys gives out free Big Cheese Cheeseburgers to veterans and Military.
Fazoli’s provides a free spaghetti to customers with a military or veteran ID. You can choose a marinara or meat sauce
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steak burgers provides a free combo meal card. The card must be picked up by an eligible veteran or active duty military member but the card can be redeemed by anyone.
Friendly’s provides a free breakfast, lunch or dinner to customers with a military or veterans ID. The free breakfast is a Big-Two-Do meal with coffee. The free lunch and dinner is an All-American Burger with fries and a beverage.
Golden Corral: A “thank you” dinner and fundraiser will take place on Monday, November 12, and veterans and active-duty military are welcomed to a free buffet and beverage from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Handel’s Ice Cream: Free single scoop ice cream cone.
Hooters: Free entrée (up to $10.99 value) with any drink purchase.
IHOP: Free order of Red, White, and Blue pancakes anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
IKEA does free entrees for veterans with military ID.
K&W Cafeteria invites veterans and military to enjoy a free meal via dine-in or take-out. You’ll receive a meal, two vegetables, bread and a refillable drink!
Krispy Kreme gives a free doughnut and small coffee to veterans, no military ID required!
Krystal offers a free sausage biscuit during breakfast hours (6-11 am). You can pick it up in-store or in the drive-thru!
LaMar’s provides free coffee and a donut to customers with ID who arrive between 5am and 3pm. The coffee is 12 oz. size.
Little Caesars Pizza does a free hot-n-ready lunch combo for Veteran’s Day. In the past, the deal is only available from 11am-2pm.
Mission BBQ provides free sandwiches and cake for military and veterans. The event kicks off with a live performance of the National Anthem at noon on Veteran’s Day.
O’Charley’s offers veterans a free meal from their $9.99 menu. The selection includes Famous Chicken Tenders & Fries, Honey-Drizzled Southern-Fried Chicken, Home-style Chicken Pot Pie and more. Remember, Veterans get a 10% discount all year round!
Olive Garden provides a free meal that includes unlimited soup, salad and bread sticks. Some locations may limit your selection to a menu of popular options.
On the Border invites veterans and active military to enjoy a free Create Your Own Combo meal. You’ll get to choose 2 or 3 selections of soup, salad, tacos, tostadas, enchiladas and other delicious treats. You’ll also get to choose black refried beans or rice for no extra charge. Drinks are not included.
Outback Steakhouse is offering a 15% discount off the total check for active duty military between November 12 and December 31. Since this discount does not take effect until after Veteran’s Day, it cannot be combined with your free Bloomin’ Onion offer.
Perkins restaurants will give both past and present service members a free magnificent seven meal, which includes eggs, pancakes and a side of bacon or sausage.
Quaker Steak and Lube provides free or discounted meals, depending on their location and preference. The discount is capped at a certain dollar amount ($10 or $12.99, depending on the location), so depending on your preference your meal may merely be discounted by the value of the free meal.
Red Lobster provides a free appetizer or desert on Veteran’s Day. No purchase necessary!
Red Robin offers a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill offers a free Mom’s Ricotta Meatballs & Spaghetti meals. The meal includes house-made beef, veal, pork and ricotta meatballs sprinkled with Romano cheese and crushed red chiles. It is topped with imported Pomodorina sauce and served over imported, bronze-cut spaghetti. All 93 locations are participating.
Sagehouse Steakhouse provides one free nonalcoholic beverage and a free
Shoney’s: Free All American Burger.
Sizzler provides free meals from a limited menu until 4pm. You’ll also get a free coffee, tea or soda.
Starbucks: Veterans and active military and their spouses each get a free tall coffee.
Tap House Grill provides a complimentary meal to all veterans and active/inactive military members.
Texas Corral offers a select Veterans Day menu for those who qualify. All meals include iced tea, lemonade or coffee.
Texas Roadhouse provides a free lunch also. Hours vary by location.
TGI Fridays provides a free lunch between 11am and 2pm for all veterans and active duty military. The value of the meal is capped at $12 and the menu varies by location.
Tim Horton’s: Free donut, anytime during the day.
Uno Pizzeria & Grill provides a free meal or individual pizza with the purchase of another meal or pizza. You will need to show valid ID.
Village Inn provides a free custom breakfast. Select four items from their
Inn-credible VIB menu and enjoy your free breakfast at any time on Veteran’s Day!
White Castle provides a free Breakfast Combo or Castle Combo Meal.

Great Clips: Veterans and current military members who visit a Great Clips salon on Nov. 11 will get a free cut that day or a free haircut card to use later. Not a military member? Purchase a haircut on Nov. 11 and receive a free haircut card to give to a veteran in your life.
Lowe’s: Veterans and active military get 10% off purchases Veterans Day and every day at Lowe’s.
Sears Garage Services: Anyone with a valid military ID can get 10% off any product or service Nov. 9 to 12.
SmileDirectClub: During Veterans Day weekend (Nov. 9 to Nov. 12), SmileDirectClub (the at-home invisible aligner therapy company) will give active military and veterans $200 off an invisible aligner purchase. To get this deal, visit one of the brand’s 150 locations with military ID. Plus, the company will donate 10% off sales from this promo to the Fisher House Foundation.
