Every year we have a requirement to redo our DoD Cyber Awareness training so that we may have access to our govt computers. Mine is just about due & I’am unable to get in to the Fort Gordon Site. They are down for routine Maintenance, I’ve been checking for over a week. So I did what every NCO should do, I went to find a solution to my problem; asked questions & made calls. Thankfully I wasn’t the only one asking this very same question. Since Ft Gordon is down for maintenance they have set an alternate site so soldiers can complete their annual DoD requirement.The Fort Gordon site (https://ia.signal.army.mil) is undergoing routine maintenance. The site will be down until around 30 Jul 18. As an alternative, please go to the Joint Knowledge On-line site to complete your Cyber Awareness Challenge Training. You DO NOT need to RETAKE the exam IF you have already taken it in the last 365 days. Below are the instructions and link to the alternate site:
Instructions:
a. Go to https://jkodirect.jten.mil/Atlas2/page/login/Login.jsf
b. Log in with your CAC/PIV
c. Click on Course Catalog and enter “Cyber” in the Title Key Word area and
click the Purple search button
d. Click the “enroll” button located to the right of course (-US1364-18).
Once you enroll the Launch button will appear
e. Click on “Launch”, then in the next widow click on “start” located in
the upper left side. Everything else is self-explanatory.
f. Make sure to save your certificate on your computer and send to your
ATCTS manager to upload into your ATCTS profile. Your ATCTS manager must
verify the upload in order for you to receive credit.
