2019 Army Regulation Updates

Tips

NCO’s like most of you all I try to stay up to date on the regs I commonly used. Recently I spent the afternoon checking to see which one of the regs I used were obsolete. Come to find out 2019 was a big year for manuals. There were so many new regulations that were published just within the year, in addition to updates on many regulations we commonly use. Notably in the Army Publishing Directorate website under the Army Doctrine Section all but one of the 16 manuals were updated in 2019. These are just manuals; I haven’t thoroughly checked my forms yet. Also there have been changes to a lot of the Tech manuals we commonly use as well. For those not familiar how to find the Tech manuals for vehicles and equipment, go to LOGSA. I will place a link to it down below.

As Leaders its important for us to stay updated on our regs. To properly lead our Troops and know the correct way to accomplish our mission and task. Just as an example I will list a few of the regulations I commonly use that have been updated just this year;

I will have a PDF link for every manual listed above.

These are just a few of the regulations I commonly use as a leader. I’m sure you all can name a bunch more. The important idea is to go and check your regs. Don’t be the NCO giving their Troops or Leadership outdated information, because you were not aware of a change.

You don’t have to check every day for updates. As an example I check my manuals once or twice a year or when I running an event like a range. To be sure that I know the proper way to do so. Well Leaders I hope this has been helpful.
